From 3-year-olds to high school students, we have programs for YOU! Spirituality is not something that happens later in life but is part of human experience throughout our lives, and should be taken seriously at all ages. From Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for 3,4, & 5 year olds to high school seniors, religious education and youth ministry is thriving at St. John Bosco Parish!

• The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori approach to young children’s catechesis. CGS is liturgically-based, small-scale and hands-on, using individual "works", small groups, and manipulative materials to learn about parables/allegories/narratives from the Bible, Catholic liturgical seasons, priests' vestments and the vessels/gestures of the Mass, the sacraments, biblical geography, and personal/group prayer.

• Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation, receiving the Eucharist, and Confirmation is a two-year preparation with a looping curriculum.  Students learn the “how and the why” behind the visible signs of these sacraments. The curriculum is age appropriate and comprehensive. Confirmation Sponsor Certificate of Eligibility Form 2016
• Religious Education for Preschool-5th grade students is on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:15 a.m. The 6th grade religious education class and 8th & 9th grade Confirmation Preparation classes are held on Sunday evenings 
• Our High School Youth Group is for high-school-aged students.  We bring the message of Jesus Christ to teenagers in a way they can understand on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Gatherings aim to be fun and challenging to teens to go deeper in their relationship with God and to own the Catholic faith for themselves.
